Gita Commentary – Ch 15

Bhagavad Gita Commentary – Chapter 15

The embodied essence can become captivated by the visible world, trapping itself within a cycle of rebirth.

But when the embodied essence realizes its origin, no longer believing itself independent, no longer attached to personal gain or accomplishment — this detached essence returns to the eternal.

That force which creates and sustains the universe is the core within all bodies — and through every eye, it sees the world.

Only a mind purified by persistent practice can perceive this eternal core.

This eternal core within all transient bodies, is the universe itself, as well as that which lies beyond, without form, imperishable and unchanging.
