Is it not absurd that a government created to serve 5 million is expected to now serve 300 million? To say that segments are underrepresented is an understatement. The entire country had a smaller population than modern-day Massachusetts. Likewise, state governments were formed when populations were drastically smaller.

Isn’t the inadequate functioning of government clearly a sign of its inability to handle the strain? Varied opinions exist within monolithic divisions that force compromises that satisfy none. Individuals lack meaningful participation in their own governance. Therefore, shouldn’t we further divide these unnatural boundaries until they reach levels of cooperation and compatibility?
