Layers of You

On one layer, you’re a filthy little creature crawling around a molten-cored rock covered in flora and fauna, speeding through space, encircling a fireball.
On one layer, you’re a monkey masquerading as man, a civilized savage, dressed in costume, playing pretend, reacting to earthly drama.
On one layer, you’re a stranger in a strange land, something spiritual in the material, unsure of how or why — but you’re here.
On the deepest layer, at the core, you’re creation itself — product and producer — personified existence.
